    Post natal cervical mucous *TMI*

Basically, I'm confused with discharge! Brief background.. DS is 11 weeks old. I delivered vaginally, bled heavily for a week, then it slowed for another week, before it turned into streaky brown spotting for about 2 weeks. Resumed DTD, then went on mini-pill at 6 week check. Sometime between then I had EWCM, had a mini freak out that I was ovulating but thought nothing of it, assuming hormones would be all over the shop considering I just had a baby and exclusively breastfeed. 3 days into taking mini-pill I had bright red spotting and freaked again, making a connection with aforementioned EWCM and thinking this is an implantation bleed but let it go, I mean what are the chances right?! So I've been taking the pill but I've noticed an increased amount of CM every day. Is this normal? To have lots of CM while breastfeeding and on the mini-pill? The only other time I've had this much CM was when I was pregnant :/

Lots of people get af back at 6 weeks so its possible to be pg I think your meant to be more fertile too as for me I had loads of cm not bf but I think it had started going back to normal at 11 weeks

I got my period back straight away, and exclusivly bf. I also have bucket loads more CM post having a baby than I ever did pre getting pregnant. (same as my periods are heavier and different). and its impossible for me to fall pregnant naturally. so maybe its just your new normal? I dont' know, not sure re: the mini pill too what part it would play...

..dont know if any of that helped...

Yes that did help! I'm not the only one lol.

Think I'll still POAS to be sure. OMG the thought of 2 babies in 11 months

Weird. I have absolutely zero cervical mucus still 4+ months post DDs birth. Dry as a chip down there!

But then I have PCOS to make my hormones even screwier on top of EBF.
