    TMI - should I worry?

I have been getting pain (like in my bones) like my pelvis is sore from bone separating making it painful to walk

The flaps around vagina are swollen like there's pressure behind it and dh says he can see something swollen or prolapsed kinda I dunno whether its just the vaginal wall swollen or what

Haven't had sex in a week, ultrasound I think she'd said cervix normal length so it wouldn't be that

Did u get this? Or should I be worried?

I'm on tapatalk so can't see how far along you are but I had a swollen hoohaa a few times from 30 weeks. I remember the pressure and discomfort was horrible. As for the pelvic pain it could be to do with the relaxin hormone which makes everything much more supple. If you're concerned speak to your doctor.

It could be the beginnings of spd. Is this your first bub? Maybe go and see a physio and for now be careful to keep your knees together getting in and out of bed, the car etc. I had spd with my first and it was incredibly painful but physio and a support belt helped.

I needed chiro from about 16 weeks with my second pregnancy, due to my pelvis being twisted a bit and things being sore and complain-y second time around.

Really bad back pain, pelvis pain, and right in the groin.

Chiro work and a bit of physio exercises with some regular pool walking helped a lot.

    Good luck

ETA: if you're worried about an actual prolapse or anything like that though, I'd be heading straight to the Drs to get checked out.

It does sound like SPD but the rule of thumb is, if you are worried then ask your care provider. They can arrange for referrals to a physiotherapist if that is what you need.

Does spd cause pressure in vagina too?

When I had spd I felt like I was going to crack open and everything would fall out. Physio did help. It's very painful and a lot of pressure.

Depends on what you mean by pressure ... if you're worried, see your Dr.

    TMI - should I worry?

I'm term now but I had pelvic pain from very early on, which I didn't have with my first. It has subsided a bit in the later stage of this pregnancy but it was like my vagina bones that hurt lol. Hard to describe.

I do remember worrying that DS2 was going to fall out at 16 weeks and I had severe SPD, but it's impossible to say without an examination. You really need to see your GP or call your midwife and ask to be seen.

Could the 'prolapse' be a vaginal varice? Basically a varicose vein in the vulva, I understand they are quite painful. Will look like a blue/purplish lump on your vulva. maybe get your DH to have a look under a good light or with a torch. I don't think a vv would cause pelvic pain, would more likely be SPD or pelvic instability.

When you say your 'vagina bone'- thats a way to describe your pubic symphysis and sounds so much like spd to me. Check a list of symptoms anyway by googling pubic symphisis pain or 'pregnancy spd' and you will be able to let your doctor or chiro know which (if any) you have.

Yeah I looked up spd and have all symptoms but didn't know if it was linked with the lump
