    Bikini area shavers

Let's talk bikini lines I'm looking for a electric razor which I can use on my bikini line - would love some recommendations please. Previously been a waxer but am going to give the at home maintenance thing a go this year to save some $$$.

    Why not wax yourself?

I would Def attempt your own waxing before shaving!

No! Don't try at home waxing unless your VERY confident in what your doing!
A friend is an ER nurse and just before Christmas a lady came in who had burnt her woo haa, trying to wax it at home!!
Blisters, and bleeding, not a good look.

Shavers are easier and yes you might do it more often, but usually no issues.
    Good luck

I'd you read the instructions properly and don't heat the wax for longer than you're meant to then there shouldn't be an issue.

Shaving has always been terrible for me, especially if you are used to waxing! Ingrown hairs, shaving rash, thick stubbly hair just to nah a few.... Yuck!!!

Nair )I think that's the brand) do a good bikini wax for at home. It's the only one I've seen actually. I never had issues with it being too hot. Of course, you should test it in a sensitive area prior to applying down there

I switched from shaving to waxing at home some years ago (wanted to save $$ too) and I was using Veet. They have a good product for at home waxing, it comes in a blue oval tub. When I was shaving I used a Schik razor.

For the last 18 months I have gone back to having my beautician do my waxing.

Instead of shaving how about trimming? The shaver shop has a range of ladies trimmers that take care of that area and are easy, pain free and have none of the drawbacks of shaving.

I used to shave, love trimming and detest waxing. There are even trimmers on the market that are quite small that are available for men's facial hair but work great on the bikini line, perhaps something to consider?

Or a depilatory cream? Veet do one which is specifically for the bikini area.

It's all my fault, I've lead this thread astray. I actually was intending to trim and was after a trimmer brand recommendation.

Hmmm... I have a little pink one, came in a silver bag thingo. Can't remember the brand! Remington maybe? It's good, adjustable hair length and small - specifically for bikini area. Think I bought it from **** Smith.

I have a braun electric shaver/trimmer/epilator. Came with plastic shapes to style your pubes with. But the heads are small, pretty painless for the epilator and easy to use.
