Laser hair removal?

Are there different types of laser? I'm thinking of doing laser hair removal on my face as I have hormonal hair growth. Have you had it done? Was it worthwhile or do you regret it?

I did. Didn't do anything. I was then told its only really affective on really dark hair on really fair skin. I'm really fair skinned with fair/medium hair. Waste of money.
How many are there? Could you just tweezer them as they grow?

Thanks for posting and asking this. I've also only got light hair and its only just a few that pop up weekly, some come up darker...just enough to annoy me though.

Sounds like it may be a waste of time and money then?

I had my armpits and bikini done. The hair is dark and as the skin is not exposed it was comparatively fair. I was told I would have a good result and had the full course of treatment. The hair did fall out, as I was told it would - but over the 6-12 months following the treatment it grew back! that was a few years ago now and you'd never know I had had it done, the hair is right back to where it started.

I do have a girlfriend who had her pits done and the hair has never grown back.
