Really have no idea what to think now!

So I am about 6w2d. I have been bleeding for about 10 days now. Not just spotting but bleeding bleeding. I saw my ob yesterday for a scan and measurements were right but saw only a Sac and yolk. No fetal pole yet which was disappointing - but being honest I was expecting him to find nothing with the bleeding. I have been having my hcg done to see what's been happening there and everything has been doubling nicely. My bleeding picked up today so pretty much prepared myself for a mc to happen and just got a call from gp telling me my hcg is now at 34000. So now I really don't know what to think! Ob gave me 60/40 chance (40 that I won't mc). My cervix was closed, sac at top of uterus and bleeding not coming from the baby so now just have to wait for another scan! Talk about sending me crazy!!!

See if you can read through my past posts I went through similar with DS. Had u/s which only showed gestational and yolk sac and no fetal pole. He is now 8mths old. I never had bloods taken as was told they can be inaccurate and don't give a clear description of what is going on. Hang in there until the next ultrasound I Know how nerve wracking it can be!

What a confusing, difficult time for you.

I had continual bleeding when first pg with DS3. My GP told me a couple of times not to get too hopeful. At around the 6w mark it was realised that my progesterone levels were up and down, but mainly going down, and I had to immediately start using progesterone pessaries. Have you had your progesterone levels tested? I continued to bleed until about 9-10 weeks, then I guess the progesterone levels sorted themselves out (I had to have the pessaries the first trimester though). It wasn't a nice time not knowing what the outcome would be. Many BBers have progesterone issues but TBH until it affected me I didn't realise just how common it is.

Really hope everything works out for you hun xx

such a roller coaster for you hun. i'm so sorry you're going through this. i really hope you have a sticky bub in there. what AndiE said is good advice - if you haven't already, you should get your progesterone checked.

I have been thinking about you and how your scan went on Monday. I really hope that this bubba stays tucked up safely in there for you and that this wait your on is not to hard to bare.
