    Prolapse

I have developed a "proud" prolapse (rectocele I think ) it bulges out of my vagina ice been trying to remember to do pelvic floor exercises but finding its getting worse as the pregnancy progresses it doesn't help ds still needs to be lifted a lot still (he is 13 months)

Do prolapses improve after birth? When the weight is removed and the muscles are less lax ??

They may do, yes. It might help to talk with a phsyio specialising in women's health.

Yeah I have she basically did an internal while I did the exercises to make sure I was doing them correctly and said one of the other walls was also "not bouncing" and hard , but she told me to do pelvic floor and limit my lifting and proper toile ting posture no straining and keeping my stools soft I forgot a lot though because she also was helping me with spd so lots of info was given to me
She thinks damage was caused by ds coming out in 3 pushes (5min) and muscles not having time to stretch properly

    Re: Prolapse

I had partial urethra and bladder prolapse while pg with DS2 (bulging out the vagina) when pg with DS2 and it had improved dramatically within 8weeks of his birth. I will see the women's health physio for the last time at the end of this month. I only have a slight urethra prolapse now but the physio doesn't think it will prove past what it is now.

    Prolapse

That's great to hear I guess I'll just have to wait and see, meanwhile it's affecting my self esteem but being emotional and hormonal doesn't help that lol
