    isoki nappy bag help

I'm pregnant with my second bub, and am wondering if I should get another nappy bag since my first one (Oi Oi messenger style) was not quite big enough, especially since I'll have a 3 year old with some stuff too. This could be our last bub, so I'm wondering if I can justify the cost of another nappy bag, or if I should just suck it up. We're having a second girl, so my thought is that since I don't need to buy a lot of stuff second time around I can spent money on this. Ha - not sure DH will see it that way ;o)

I'm looking at the Isoki reversible hobo bag and the isoki bucket nappy bag. I had originially thought I was interested in the hobo, but when I went to look at it in the store today they only had the bucket bag. Does anyone have either and have an opinion? I'm hoping I can use the bag after I'm done carrying a nappy bag, but not sure if that is really practical (ie. is the hobo really too big as an everyday bag? I can't find one in store to look at).

I'd love any opinions or advice.

    Thanks!

I have the hobo, and I loved it when I had my boys (18month difference), but I didn't use it for the babygirl 3.5 years later - I think it was too big for just one baby. It might have been good for day trips, but it just wasn't necessary for every day use. The bucket bag looks good I reckon.

If you're worried about using it beyond baby, you could always get a nice roomy handbag, that will fit a nappy change clutch sort of thing.

Can't help on those particular bags, I'm in the process of choosing a new one for myself though so thought I'd suggest looking at second hand bags on gumtree etc. There's quite a few on there and lots are as new just heaps cheaper, thats how I think ill talk dh round lol!

    isoki nappy bag help

I bought a reversible Isoki online when preg with DD - I ended up selling it without using it as the type of material (almost canvas like) and reversible feature meant it weighed a ton! I would highly recommend seeing one in real life before purchase

Thanks for your input ladies! I would definitely like to look at one in person before I buy, but the three stockists in my area don't actually stock isoki bags anymore, and I can't get in touch with isoki directly for a more updated list. Gumtree do have a few, and I've bookmarked a few to think about. I've also started looking at the Melobaby diaper clutch, and am wondering if I should start with something like that to add to a bag. Hard to know if I should be prepared before baby arrives, or see how it goes with my current bag (and maybe the melobaby), then maybe upgrade my handbag for my birthday in July. Lots to think about. Thanks for helping out!! If I do go for an isoki, I'm leaning towards the bucket bag. Need to think about the price as I can't find any of those on gumtree etc.

    isoki nappy bag help

I had the same trouble deciding on a bag and in the end pulled a great backpack out of the cupboard and that's what we use. Great for hands free and I can still use it with bubs in the carrier :-)
