Woohoo Beatrix!

We had Hello Baby, but our favourite was Runa's Birth. We found copies of a few home birthing books secondhand online at AbeBooks. The girls still like reading them.

Jennifer, that book sounds great. We have a few about homebirths now, but I am tempted to buy that one too!

Booked in for acupuncture tomorrow morning. Bowels have been emptying extra regularly over the last 2 days. C'mon little guy I want to snuggle you and put tiny fluff on your bum!

I've heard good things about the acupuncture. I'm going to recommend it to a friend of mine who really wants a homebirth, but always goes so late that she ends up being induced. Hope it works wonders for you ReeRee.

...oh and there's a thread on BB atm about someone wanting sibling at the birth and wanting to convince their partner. I was thinking of pointing her in the direction of one our HB videos that was put up on here...but cannot remember where we posted all the montages etc...or even if it is available....and I cannot remember whose it was (it was a HBAC one with DD1 at the birth). i remember how beautiful and normal it all was (as all HBs are!) and thought that it would be a good one to show (but understand if not available anymore!!).

I just ordered a couple more birthy books from the Book Depository. "Childbirth Without Fear" and "The Essential Homebirth Guide". I think I'm going to be more than ready for #3 to be born before they're even conceived

I've also got "Homebirth In The Hospital" on my wish list, but only so I can lend it to doula clients. I borrowed it from the library way back when I was newly pregnant with Ianto, I wish I'd bought a copy after that.

Hi everyone,
just wanted to pop in and recommend a film I saw on vimeo today. it's called 'being with her' it's a lovely film about dad's/partners at homebirths, very sweet. I will watch it again with DH.

Midwife came over today. I love the visits and so do the children. Bubs is heads down(please stay there) and measuring perfectly!! I feel so excited today, I have some busy weeks ahead so hopefully that will hurry time along!
