    Eeeeeeeewww that's just gross!!!

Ok so we have a ****roach problem. I put out bait 2 days ago and got some spray for killing them and to attract them so they eat it and take it back to the nest. I see at least 1 each morning while I'm making my breakfast.
My problem is that they are living behind the button panel and in the electronic display window of our microwave and it just grosses me out!
I want a new microwave but the budgets kinda not to grand at the mo and DP recons we just need to wait for the bait to work. I just want that roach infested thing outa here!!!
Tell me your success stories about how to get rid of the disgusting little critters please!!!!

What type? If they are the little brown German ones you'll need to turf the microwave. They are very hard to kill and nest in electronics like fridges, microwaves and coffee machines.

I hadn't thought of doing an outside spray cause the sight of them I the microwave display had me thinking I should concentrate on there. Makes me feel sick thinking about it.

Yeah. You can't "kill" them with bombs and spray. You need to find the nest and get rid of it. They breed too fast and have been known to withstand most sprays and baits.

    In the micro? Ew.

Please can I lend you my spare microwave until your budget can buy you a new one?

I'd get a secondhand one off one of those gumtree sites. You can get them for 10 or 20 bucks. Alot of people say pickup for free (so they don't have to take to tip and pay the fee) that would ride you over until you get
a new one? I did that but 5 years later, I STILL have the ten dollar microwave! It just won't die!

The only way to successfully get rid of them is to get an exterminator in who will spray and treat twice, usually 6 weeks apart. We were told they hold the most eggs and don't need food or anything to survive as they eat their own feces and shed shells etc. Each egg they have contains something like 400 babies and they are able to breed from quite young. They like warm & moist areas so are usually found in kitchens, bathrooms and laundries.
We're about to get the exterminators in to our house again to just keep on top of it. I wouldn't suggest getting a new microwave until they have been treated or they will just find their way into the new one. Good luck. They're disgusting things!

Thanks OP that's really generous! I think your microwave could be at risk of an infestation too! Mmm.. I'll sleep on it.
A friend told me Aldi has microwaves for $39 at the mo so that could be a good solution to get the infestation outa da house.
