    Names

DH and I are onto our third Bubba. I'm convinced Jellybaby will be another boy and we have always had trouble agreeing on names so hit me with some names.

DH likes "normal" names, nothing too out there. Our other boys are Noah Henry and Hamish Leonard. I'd like to use Arthur as the middle name.

    TIA

My DS is Benjamin ... middle name Lees. Quite traditional although Lees is DH's name and never heard that before

If we have a boy this time I have noooooo idea what we will call him. Boys names are so hard. I'm not even going to try and attempt it until after the anatomy scan hehe

    My DS is Dean Michael.

I have no other names not even girls as I let DH pick.

Why not have Arthur as a first name all the Arthurs I know are really cool

    My boys are

Rhys Patrick and Liam James (twins)

Boys names were so hard, but originally Rhys was going to be called Cale or Cael.

    I also liked
    Owen
    Euan
    Seth

    Our DS is Lachlan.

If DD had been a boy, she'd have been a Kai/Kye or Keiran.

We reeeaaaaaally struggled with boys names... Both times we only had one name... But hey I guess that's all you need

I would make lists and DH would go through and go "no, no, no, no"

Some of the ones I had were:
    Aidan
    Rohan/Rowan
    Thomas
    William
    Matthew

And you know what we settled on in the end

ETA - I know a little Harry and he is cute! Might not work with Hamish though!

I have the same problem OP. Add to that DH doesn't like names that will be shortened like Benjamin, Thomas, Christopher etc. Drivers me batty.

I thought about Arthur as a first name but it was my grandpa's name and makes me think of an old man. I like it as a middle name but not add a first I don't think. So hard.

I've put some on a list to start a conversation with DH later on. So far I have
    Angus
    Rowan/Rohan
    Liam

    Were our boys' list.
For your hubby though, maybe suggest he keep in mind that the names won't be shortened if you don't shorten them. There may the odd noodle that tries to call Thomas "Tom", but if you introduce and call him Thomas, then others will also. It won't be until he is older and at school when he develops a nicname and that will most likely be within his choosing anyway. Just an argument for your toolbox! LOL

    Re: Names

I found boys names hard! Good thing we had girls otherwise i think our bubs would've been nameless for awhile

Boys names of friends and family i know are:-

    Adrian
    Damon
    Lucas
    Ethan
    Lachlan
    Jacob
    Max
    Elias
    Oliver
    Hayden
    Oscar
    Dylan
    Denzil
    Kurt
    Vaughn
    Devon
    Dante

    Just to name a few!

ETA: Out of the names a above I think "Lucas Arthur" flows nicely with your other boys' names

    Re: Names

My DS has middle name of Arthur - I think most things go with it but something that cant be shortened are more tricky - Ryan is hard to shorten - as is Rory, Leo.
