I'd love to have some handmade stuff ready for when baby arrives, so hit me with your favourite *easy* tutorials/patterns! I've got a couple on Pinterest to consider, but I want mooooore!
Bibs and flannels! I just made a set of three flannels and two bibs from cotton terry towelling, which I bound using homemade bias binding in cotton with a gorgeous pattern of tiny aeroplanes/helicopters/hot air balloons. I then appliqueed a little motif of planes or a rainbow or a chopper, etc, on each piece, and I think it makes the most beautiful baby shower gift for my friend who is due with a little boy. If you've never made bias binding before, it's surprisingly easy, and you can make it in any colour or pattern you can find in cotton, then.
Oh heaps!
I have made so far:

Old jumper patch work blanket

Cot valance
Breastfeeding/tummy time pillow
