    Heels or boots

I brought some new dress tops today. I'm planning to wear one with leggings tomorrow for work. What do people think look better with this kind of outfit - boots or heels? The top is a knit top and comes down jut under my butt.
With the weight I've lost I'm feeling more confident to wear these kinds of outfits now yay!!

Definitely boots, I'm not a fan of leggings and heels. Ballet flats are ok.

Depends on the leggings. A nice legging made from a thick, heavier fabric (more like super skinny pants, less like opaque tights) will go with heels or boots. Actually so will thinner leggings as long as the top you are wearing covers the bum or hips so it's more like a dress or tunic over tights.

Or you could go all Audrey Hepburn and wear with ballet flats or loafers.

I wouldn't wear leggings to work as it would be inappropriate everywhere I've worked. Tbh, I struggle to think of a workplace where leggings and a top that just covers your backside is appropriate.

For casual wear, it would depend on where you were going.

It really depends on the pant. Not all modern 'leggings' are actually leggings, they are skinny pants. It comes down to the fabric and cut of the pant.

    Re: Heels or boots

I have worn flats almost all the time, since getting pg with DS1.

I was nauseous, then I had back issues, then I was pregnant and nauseous again, then more back issues, and now I'm used to flats

I still wear heels for any meetings and outings at work, and some parties, but flats all the rest of the time.

The only time I wear leggings or skinny pants is underneath a short dress. Completely not appropriate in my line of work.
