I'm keen to invest in a Bee as it seems to have everything I want for two kids but it looks quite exposed to the elements. I live in Canberra and it gets very cold in the winter everyday - 0 to 10 degrees with wind chill. Has anyone had experience with one in cold weather and have any feedback or suggestions?
we have a bee and used to take Connor to the craft markets that i sell at here in melbourne at 6am on cold winter mornings. The bugaboo performance footmuff will keep them warm!! Thats the winter version of their universal footmuff....plenty snug! We also had a pram liner/muff thingy we bought off one of the market stalls that was very warm also.....both worked great for us! There are some photos on my facebook page of him snugged up in his bee...friend me if you want a gander at them.
Hey Mel I was hoping you may see this. I know you love your Bee. Thanks for that feedback. It seems to have everything else ticked for me including scate board for F to ride on.
the high performance footmuff would keep bub warm as a bug in a rug...it is almost $300...but IMHO being that you live in canberra - totally worth it if you can (I wouldnt hesitate if i still lived in canberra for example). and resale on all bugaboo products is exceptional.
I got one! It's got lovely minkee covers, minkee hood and minkee sleeping bag to keep DS cosy, and the toddler board is just genius. Also got the maxi cosy adaptors so its very easy from car to pram with the capsule. I can't believe that me, as a committed baby wearer, loves a pram so much but it is a great solution as DS is so big that I don't want to carry him all the time. DD loves it too.
