No one using tampons or pads??![]()
I'm having my mirena removed next week, so after 3 years I have to buy products again
I'm not yet ready to try cups etc.... But would prefer to use natural, dye free etc...tampons/pads, so which do you use and how much are they.
No one using tampons or pads??![]()
I used Cottons ones when I used tampons. They were fine but I hated the dryness tampons gave me.
Swapped from carefree to cottons and also toms as they are apparently better for you.
If I ever have to use a tampon and not my cup, I pick whatever is on special so that's no help sorry! I loath the tampon dryness these days!
I use whatever is on sale so i'm also no help.
I use cloth pads and panty liners a lot of the time. I have various sizes for overnight and day time. I wear tampons for most of the days of my period though. I haven't tried a cup yet either and I buy natracare tampons. I like that they are organic and chlorine free. I'm buying them in the states though so you may be able to get them imported or a local brand could be good. I don't remember if cottons are organic?
I use cottons and have used Tom as well - perfectly happy with them - actually I like how dry I feel when using tampons. Find pads smelly and uncomfortable.
I like that they are more natural than some of the other ones.
I used to use carefree which I do find easier to insert than cottons, its like they are smoother somehow.
Good luck with getting back into the 'swing' of things.
I use Libra Fleur tampons, I have for years. I like that they are easy to insert (as above, 'smooth'), but most importantly, I like that they don't 'fluff' on extrication! You know how some tampons seem to lose little bits of fluff? None of that.
I use Poise liners and pads. Discovered them when I was pg and had a small amount of urine leakage. They are really absorbent and they seem to suck up any... odour.
None of them are terribly 'natural' but they suit me!
i use ukotex goodnight ones. i love big pads lol
I buy libra pads for the facts on the paper. I can no longer imagine not having pads I can read.
Good luck with getting back into it. My first period after my first Mirena came out was like a blood bath. I'm sure it wasn't extra heavy but after all that time having a normal period freaked me out.
I use Kotex, the big ones as well I seem to flood them and the thin ones just don't feel comfortable. Tampons I am using carefree but they are fluffy and don't like them.
Thanks everyone!
I purchased cotton pads and Tom tampons, will see how they go, not a fan of libra and don't like he carefree fluff.....sign
Zazou I'm having acupuncture from next Tuesday to try and avoid horrendous periods![]()
I'm a stayfree girl myself. Not dye free or anything but I like them the best.
