    Cellulite, any solutions?

I'm happy with my weight. I could do with some toning all over but especially the thighs and butt. I'm most depressed about the cellulite and skin condition of this area. My mum has the same thing but I don't want it up become as bad as hers. Is there any way to improve it permanently that you have noticed yourself? It would be great if I could reduce it.

Dare I say that if you are fit and healthy and happy with your weight that you should learn to love your dimply thighs?
Most medical studies indicate that there is pretty much no 'cure' for cellulite. From a medical perspective it is a normal condition for women - 80 - 90% of post adolescent women have cellulite.

My Grandmother grew up in an era where women didn't have cellulite - the term was invented and popularised by women's magazines in the 1960's. IMO those editors were evil freaks. Teaching generations of women to hate their bodies for being normal is a dreadful legacy.

But yeah........ lots of water, more fresh food and less processed foods and doing more resistance training will all help reduce fat all over and help tone up your butt and thighs. Squats (weighted and plyometric) lunges (weighted and dynamic), running and cycling are all good for the leg area. And even better, you'll feel like a strong, bad ass woman if you can squat heaps and run far and then you'll be more inclined to think that anyone who doesn't like your cellulite can just go **** themsleves because it is their problem not yours.

I agree with Zazou If you want to reduce the appearance of it, you can buy some sorbelene or something like that and rub it in morning and night. The act of rubbing is what helps reduce the appearance.

I find that eating more cake helps my skin to plump out and become smoother all over.

Cellulite is natural and normal. We are meant to have it. The degree to which you have it depends on genetics. I am overweight but pretty much cellulite free, just as my mum is. I dont think there's much you can do about it.
