Can I just say I think you'd be awesome. I've been saying for years you could be my PT any day. (Not helpful but hey... Supportive no?!

I'm thinking of doing a course of some sort to get personal training qualifications (or some other find of sports fitness related qualification). Has anyone done a cert 3/4? How long did it take you? Did you do it through TAFE or a private college?
What about Les Mills? I wouldn't mind doing the Pump and CXWorks certification - can one count that as credit towards higher level certification?

A good friend of mine is Les Mills qual.
It is heaps addictive (and can be a tad cultish/Amway-ish/Arm-ish ... ok not armish, I totally made that up) but she takes it for what it is, gets totally into it, loves it lives it breathes it, goes to the events and conferences etc.
I'm not sure if you have to do training for classes and PT or if you can do just one or the other - she does both.
She did the training while working full time. Tiring, but totally doable, and she was spending a comparable amount of time in the gym anyway ... figured she might as well get paid for it.
I'll be your guinea pig.
Lol @ cultish.
Most of the Les Mills instructors I know seem to do it more as a hobby not a job IYKWIM.
I thought I read somewhere that if you have Les Mills certification that you could count it as units towards a cert 3/4 and it seems like a more enjoyable way to pick up credits than going to class lol. I guess I could just ring a TAFE or college and ask them
N2L, once upon a time, a guinea pig bit my little brother. Since that day I've not had a good relationship with them.
Ladybird is a pt and les mills obsessed - i mean qualified. If you follow fatchicslim on Facebook you will know who she is. She will be able to answer all your questions.
