I'm sure I have seen this around here somewhere, but I can't find it now =(
Has anyone had a lotus birth, and kept the placenta attached until it feel off on its own accord? If so, does anyone know/have the 'recipe' of what you do to the placenta, and what type of bag is recommended to keep it in?
I have never done this, but if I remember correctly, those who did put the placenta in a silk bag and put some salt and lavender in with it. (I think!) Google could probably help you out there.
I know you can buy special bags for them...i reckon etsy might be a good place to start? sorry that i dont have more specific information....but totally exciting! If i didnt eat my placenta i would so do a lotus birth
