    I think I need a new Wazzer!

First of all, thanks Jamie Oliver for inventing the word 'wazz'

So, my little food processor type thingy, with detachable hand blender etc, doesn't seem to be wazzing so well. Yesterday's ice block mixture (frozen fruit and yoghurt) still had clumps of fruit all through it, and today's chocolate balls had lumps of date, whole sultanas and nut chunks. The blade for the processor has had a crack for ages, but its never been an issue. I wondered if the motor was wearing out, but the hand mixer seems to purée perfectly... It's a Kenwood (K Mix) about 4-5 years old.

What would you recommend for a new smallish food processor, knowing I do lots with frozen fruit, nuts etc?

I already have a blender and mixer, so don't need those. TIA

I just got a Breville All in One, and I love it! A mini food processer with stick blender.

Thanks, Connie, will check them out. I'm guessing now would be a good time to buy....EOFY?

I think this must be what I have (or it's very similar). It has a whisk too.

That's the one! My mum bought it for me as an early birthday present, and she got it on special at DJs for $150 about 2 weeks ago. The cheapest I have seen it is for $160 at the Good Guys. RRP is $200.

When my kenwood gives out, I'll be right out there buying another. It's 10 years old and going strong.
So my vote would be another Kenwood.

Kim - I agree, Kenwood is awesome. I inherited Mum's old Kenwood mixer when I left home, and it was 20 years old then. We only got rid of it as we were worried about the cord.
I also used Mum's old Breville food processor happily until the plastic handle cracked and we couldn't clean it properly.
Will look at both brands, and DH said he'd have a look at ours to see if he can see a problem.
