    mucus plug

Does it have to be jelly like or ewcm? TMI I have had heaps of cm in the morning to the point where it soaks through to my pyjama pants. this morning I got up and thought my waters were breaking, but it was just cm. It's lotion like cm and a bit watery. Maybe it's just wishful thinking?

My mucus plug was very distinctive, different from cm. You'll know it when you see it! Mine had a bit of blood. But I only lost mine as I was going into labour and not long before my waters broke.

Your body is getting ready in its own way.

My plug was very different to CM. It was literally a big jelly blob streaked with blood and I had it for 3 days prior to my waters breaking. I'd had a S&S too. I don't recall losing my plug at all with DD1 yet I had SROM with her too.

    Good luck!

Unfort doesn't sound like your plug yet.

My plug was HUGE when I finally lost it. It was a bit smaller then the palm of my hand and was like a like bloody snot ball. I lost it just after my waters broke.

I did lose smaller jelly like bits from about 37 weeks but your plug can regenerate I have been told.

Thanks ladies. This is definitely just cm like. Just lots and lots of it. I thought I may go early a few weeks back with massive back ache, constant BH etc, but it all seems to have fizzled out unfortunately. Fingers crossed I don't go over!

The night before I went into labour with DD I had a couple of dark brown blood spots when I went to toilet .
Then nothing until I was 6cm at the hospital and I went to the toilet and wiped and there it was a big huge snotty clump of well snotty like stuff with blood through it ..
