    Tallboy draw runners

We just got an old pine tallboy for the nursery. Problem is the draws aren't on runners, very annoying. DH says he will sand it all back and sand all the draws underneath etc to make it all smooth. But I'm not confident it will work.

Does anyone have any good tricks on what to use to make it easier to open and close the draws?

I have the same in DD room it's not that bad you just have to push the larger drawers shut using both hands so the draw goes in evenly at the same time

    Tallboy draw runners

I'm not a crafty person at all but I remember reading somewhere that if you run a candle/wax along the bottom of drawer & drawer runner thingy it make the drawers easy to open/close. Sounds like it could work?!

Sand them back and then rub a candle on the bottom edges. Use a good quality candle, you want good wax.
