Anyone use those wash balls?

On deal of the day or similar, I saw these wash balls for sale. They are NOT soap nuts. But they work apparently on changing the PH of the water and on magnets. Just wondering if anyone has actually used them?

Our clothes are pretty dirty around here but I'd be interested in a greener, cheaper option.

I have. I don't use them on clothes because TBH I don't think anything beats those little enzymes and some sunlight (which is hard to come by at the moment!) for getting real dirt out. I use mine for washing sheets, towels etc. The towels especially stay nice and soft with them which is nice. I got mine from a stand at the Royal Show and I think they were about $20 or so.
