i'm getting my results back from my GP tonight. just wanting know if anyone would like to share what their HCG/progesterone was in the first trimester? were they ranked good or bad?
i'm worried as i know my progesterone was on the low side at 8DPO, so just wanting to know what to expect . & would be a lot of help to others too.
My hcg was 122 and progesterone was 30. They didn't want to do any more blood tests, so I have no idea about doubling times or anything. But I am now ten weeks pregnant, so something must have been okay
My progesterone wasn't checked but I still have my hcg results on the fridge from a year ago lol they still make me smile too.
4+2/17dpo - 300
5+0/22dpo - 3450
5+4/26dpo - 11850
Let us know how your results are tonight. Fingers crossed for you
repeat tests in 2 days i tried to push for her to give me a prescription for progesterone but she wouldn't. she said progesterone doesn't matter as long as the HCG is good... idk what to believe. i still feel my progesterone is on the low side. as i see some girls with levels over 60 this early. but according to this chart, i'm doing OK?? i hope??
Progesterone during pregnancy First Trimester9-47 Second Trimester 17-147 ng/ml Third Trimester55-200 ng/ml
I'm not 100% sure. I have tried using the due date calculators online but they're all based on a 28 day cycle & ovulation on CD14. I have a 30 day cycle & ovulate around CD20. I think I'll roughly be 4w6d tomorrow judging by my dates, or 5w6d going by the online calculator lol. Can't stop worrying about my progesterone!!
As I said previously, your progesterone may have been low due to the pregnancy being unviable last time. 'Lower' progesterone levels may not be indicative of miscarriage ITMS? Have you booked a scan? How exciting!
thanks so much ladies!!! i know my exact dates now. 5w1d!
results are in
8-9DPO - 15 HCG
4w5d - 3,342 HCG
5w - 5,806 HCG
doubling time of 60 hours
i have done a lot of research & once HCG hits 6,000 it can take up to 96 hours to double, it said HCG shouldn't really be tested after 6,000. buuut i'm having 1 more test anyway . got a referral for our 6-7 week scan too, can't wait to see/hear the heartbeat!!
