feeling hopeful this time armed with pregnyl 5000iu and progesterone

    Hi everyone

I am back and currently 5w 3 days pregnant. I have had 15 miscarriages all before 7 weeks and one awesome 3.5 year old daughter.

Our last miscarriage was in october at 6w 5 days, 4 days before our wedding. So now we are happy but very cautious.

But this time I have seen a new GP as we moved from Melb to Geelong right before xmas. My new GP is awewome and ran every test under the sun. after checking twice my beta was increasing he referred me to an ivf specialist ob who I saw yesterday. So much has happened so quickly. I am now having injections every 3 days of Pregnyl and inserting 200mg progesterone pessaries twice a day. As well as taking baby aspirin.

Has anyone with reaccuring unexplained miscarriages tried these or found that they have helped make it past 13 weeks. Any info now would be awesome and appreciated.

That is basically what I did, except instead of pessaries I was swallowing 8 tablets a day. I continued the injections until my 13th week and at that stage began weaning off the progesterone tablets then too - I think it was about 10 days of cutting down the dose, so basically 15 odd weeks on I was drug free. The result of the first BFP I followed this regime with is my DD3 who hit 20 months today. I hope you have similar luck.

So far still pregnant! !!! Ive now gone past 14 of my miscarriages and today is the exact day I miscarried last time. So I'm really hoping that my hugely increased symptoms are a really positive sign.
LuluHd did you find your symptoms were more intense with the progesterone. I feel about and look about 4 months pregnant not almost 7 weeks
