Iron injections

I have had them during two pregnancies and again last year. I have no side effects from them, except if the person doing it doesn't get it exactly right there is staining around the injection site. By staining I mean a huge purple mark on your bum cheek lol. I had them in the third tri of DD1 and they had just about faded away when I started getting them third tri for DD2. So nearly two years they sat there, a giant bruise. The mark can be a bit tender just like a bruise.

I didn't even feel any different after them, but I it did get me over the line so I wasn't anaemic.
