    pelvis pain after baby

I had mild spd during pg #3. Saw a physio frequently and it was manageable. I also have a hernia and big abdominal seperation. also had sciatica during pg, helped by physio.

Now 11 weeks post partum, and still have difficulty rolling over in bed with pain in the middle of my pelvis. I know I need to get back to physio, but wondered if others had similar and when it started to get better.

I had similar and it was about 4-6 months PP that I noticed real improvement. I saw the osteo a few times PP too. Hope it eases quickly for you

I had SPD with DD2 and it was actually worse after birth than in the last weeks of pregnancy. Sorry I can't remember when it got better but it gradually improved with time. Hang in there xx

    Re: pelvis pain after baby

I had mild pubic bone pain and my physio and chiro have helped. But mostly exercising my core muscles (esp pelvic) has fixed it. I understand my issue is not anywhere near as bad as yours, but still if the muscles that support the area are strengthened it will help. But at 11 wks post-partum it will have to be gentle and I would do it with a physio watching over/advising.
