Kinetic sand and water

Hi all,
So i bought some kinetic sand and dd1 decided to put water in it.

Now it feels like mush and doesnt want to stick together.

Any idea how to fix this?

From the kinetic sand website:

"Don't panic. Just spread it out and put it out in the sun for an hour and it should dry out and return to the original consistency"
