Ok so Jamie is supposed to start school next year but I have no idea what schools around here are good or bad or whatever I don't know how to pick a school and I'm afraid of running out of time to find him a place
Help plz
You probably need to go and have a tour to get a feel for the school and the staff. Always best to go on a typical school day and see what the class and the teachers are doing in the classrooms.
Probably best for people to PM you with specific recommendations or comments and feedback. Rather than public posting,
Courtney Gardens Primary School in Cranbourne North is one of the best in the state. It's extremely popular though as it is so good so it is zoned but they do have a waiting list and do accept kids from the list. My DS will be going there in a few years
The kinder teachers unfortunately cannot recommend schools. We can tell families where they are but not much else. I always encourage families to visit the schools and see which ones fit their families values and wishes for their child's education. Also, the place needs to feel right!
Cranbourne has many popular catholic schools in the area too.
Can't ask them anyway coz they go to daycare in Hallam so the kids there would probably go to school locally
I'll have to get on the phone on Monday I guess thanks guys
