DS is 6.5 months old and is just getting over his first cold which he has had for about 8 days now. When his cold first appeared he went right off his formula. I thought it could be his ears hurting so I tried giving it to him in a sippy cup and syringe but he just spat it back out. He is on solids and continued eating and drinking water from a sippy cup the whole time. I took him to the Drs on day 5 as he still wasn't drinking his formula. Pre cold he was having 5 bottles a day and now I'm lucky if he has 2. The Dr checked his ears and said they were ok and he was well hydrated. Is this something I just need to ride out? Has anyone been through anything similar (whether it be breast or bottle) I know it's good he is eating solids but shouldn't his formula still be the most important source of nutrition or does it not matter so much now he is over 6 months? I can't help but worry about this one
