Spotting again one week after period

Hi all,

This has never happened to me so seeking for advice.

My period finished on friday. Was normal heavy flow.

Today i have spotting again!

What the??

i have pcos and usually would either skip my period and have long cycles between period but never ever have this.

Any ideas?

I"m finding that as I get older, that is starting to happen every now and then. It's like it didn't completely finish and it's just the last little bit coming away. But if you are worried, get it checked out.

Me too and I hate it. I used to be very confident about it, but not so much now. I'm figuring I'm peri-menopausal now from what I've been reading.

I had a similar thing after my last period. It was my first one after ds3. Was a normal length and flow then for about 2 weeks after I would get spotting, especially after dh and I DTD. Hoping it doesn't happen again this month.

Are you on any contreception? Certain types you are more likely to get mid cycle spotting. Also any chance you could be pregnant? If so probably best to do a HPT and rule that one out. Is this the first time its happened? Are you breastfeeding? Sorry for all the questions it just helps to paint a bigger picture of what could be contributing to it.

I am not on contraception and am still breastfeeding.

Definitely not pregnant.

Went to see the doc. She said it might be polyps of the cervix or something like that.
