Mattress protector/underlay

I'm getting myself a new bad & mattress next week. I need a water proof mattress protector for when the kids wet my bed, but I don't want it to feel/sound like plastic.

Any idea's where I can find something? I wouldn't mind a woolen underlay too, but only if I can find a decent protector to go over the top.

On all our beds I use 'Protect A Bed' brand water proof mattress protectors. They are fitted and don't make any noise at all. Buy them from Big W

Some bed stores sell good ones, like caption snooze and forty winks. If it was a single bed id highly recommend a brolly mat Pumpkin Patch online.

I'm upgrading to a king size. Will get a big w one, they're on sale (half price) at the moment! I just wanted to know what they were like! Thanks
