    Preparing pads for after delivery

    Hi,

Not sure if this is really the best place for this, but I remember some mention on some thread on BB a while ago about people preparing pads for the postpartum time.
I think they infused them with something and put them in the freezer...?

Anyway, I'm really curious about this.
Does anyone have any recommendations for ways to prepare pads so they are nicer on your body in the postpartum time?
Do you need to be using cloth pads for this? (I've got a couple of normal cloth pads, but don't really want to buy a whole bunch just to get me through the postpartum bleeding)

Also any other great tips you have for aiding healing in the postpartum time would be great!

Witch hazel is meant to be good for roids and peri bruising. I remember vaguely maybe lavender.. But not 100% sure though... I will ask around =)
