baby hammock advice/recommendations

Hi there,
Starting to get 'organised' for our baby coming next year. Was thinking to get a baby hammock, but there are quite a few on the market. Any thoughts? Recommendations?

Amby Air. I wouldn't go with any other. First time round money was very tight and I wasn't sure how good it would be, so o got a cheapie from eBay. It worked a treat, DD had fantastic naps in there. But, a few things about a cheapie:
- The mattress was flimsy, not firm
- It was quite short
- Weight rating was quite low
- The spring rusted
- The mesh part of the sling doesn't go all the way down to the mattress, where baby actually is, like with an Amby Air

All of those things are perfect with an Amby. It's been brilliant for day naps for our little guy, and he could keep going in there for a long time to come

Amby all the way! DD used it until she was about 14 moths old.

i love my Amby too. ALthough my kids have only lasted til 6 - 9 months in it, due to rolling, 'surfing' in the hammock and tummy sleeping (in the hammock!).

Thanks ladies,
I wasn't so into the 'look' of the Amby and my partner wasn't sold on the stability of the stand. We found a really nice Natures Sway one second hand on Gumtree so we have gone with that. Thanks for the positive feedback, makes the decision to get a hammock feel like a good one!
