    Issues 17 months after birth

Ok straight to the point. I am having issues in the lubrication department still and i stopped breastfeeding 10 months ago. I thought it would come back, but I'm pretty sure it's not. I also have not really had any desire to dtd, ever. I remember watching an episode of Dr Oz one day and learning that the glands responsible for it are located just inside on the vaginal wall. this is also where tears in birth happen and where I had my stitches. Could this be the reason for my issue? Anyone else share this issue with me?

Are you on contraception Tasha? I find the 2 worst things for libido is contraception and BF.

No Mildez, no contraception. I am worried they have botched my stitches! Although I had no trouble with them and everything is back where it should be

Maybe ask dr Google if Noone here has helpful advice for you...
Or see a good gp re the dryness.
As for your libido, I find the more we do it the more I want to do it.

Are you on any other medication? Antidepressants can also kill your libido.

Re: Issues 17 months after birth

Thankyou ladies. I have searched Google a few times and there's nothing for this far after birth, it's all straight after. I'm more concerned about the lack of lubrication during dtd then libido. I think it's why I don't feel like ever doing it tbh because it's uncomfortable Everything else is in perfect working order except that. No other meds either. Guess i'll have to see my GP although I really don't want to!

Good idea to see your GP, it might come down to hormones. If you're low in the oestrogen department, that can cause vaginal dryness & the lining of the vagina is thinner & more hurty too. If that's the problem, you can use a vaginal oestrogen medication which works a treat. In the meantime there are a few products you can buy off the shelf like replens, that help add moisture and keep your hoohoo happy. But I would still see the dr as they will be able to identify the cause & that will help put your mind at ease
