Hello girls!! Michelle there is a smoothie thread in the recipe section, I'll post Matilda's favourites in there for you
Matilda woke up last night around 11pm with a bad runny nose, we gave her dimatap and thank goodness she went back to sleep after an hour. But it looks like a cold today. She had one nap this morning & is struggling with another one atm because she's tired too. I [-o< it stays a cold!! Nothing more...
Thanks Christy I'll take a look in the morning, I am very tired.
ballarat is more than 1 and a half hrs actually. We left the hospital about 20 past 4 when Nana started to dose off. She is well, looks tired but is recovering well from her op.
Welcome Dasch and Happy bday Yasin! OMG that is so amazingly quick Dasch! How are you going with your pg and how did the bday plans end up?
No more personals, sorry girls just buggered
Cheers michelle
welcome to bon and dachlostar and happy birthday to grace and yasin.
well not much to say today i feel like crap, what a great way to spend a birthday NOT, lani has been vomiting since 5pm yesterday and can't even keep water down, she is sleeping atm so hopefully she can sleep the bloody bug off and hope it doesn't spread around the house. i feel queasy but i am thinking that is because i have to deal with the vomit and i am so not good at that. tell me how the hell can i look after a child who is dying (jessica) and not be able to handle a vomiting child, i think i need hypnosis to deal with it.
anyway jsut thought i would check in and share my woes.
hi the everyone, hope matilda is feeling better christy adn also ambah and aiyden hope you are both feeling better - I HATE IT WHEN EVERYONE IS SICK BOO HOO HOO
I'm sorry to hear you've got sick households Mooshie and Christy.
My two are arguing like crazy today, and I'm just about to face the grocery shopping... their latest "game" is to run away in the supermarket - both in opposite directions, of course #-o
My daughter also gets the giggles, which doesn't help.
Better go and do it I suppose. Just wanted to say welcome to Bon and Dachlostar.
awwww mooshie its awful when they have gastro. Because not only are they mental but there is so much cleaning up to do!! Yuck!!! I hope she is feeling better!!
Matilda is going the same, three days of runny nose & heaps of snot & mini tantrums but nothing too bad. I realise now how bad the tonsilitis made her compared to now where there's stuff there but its not as bad.... I hope she gets better by the weekend though, I'd like a bit more sleep....
happy birthday Michelle, hope you got something lovely! Hope Lani gets over her gastro very quickly, Jess' had it for 5 days and that was bad. I am fine with vomit and pooh as long as it's my own child, it's over kids I can't handle.
Christy- Sounds like Matilda has the same sort of cold Jess has atm, it is more annoying than anything, runny nose and a slight cough, Jess also keeps getting gooey eyes every few days, which is also annoying. Hope Matilda is better soon. Jess still hasn't had hr inj cos she's not been well since she turned 1.
Christine- kids and supermarkets just don't mix. Sounds like they have worked out how to rev you up too, makes it hard to buy food I bet! It would be funny to watch of course but painful for you.
Jessica is a climbing machine atm, she just climbed on the activity table to get to the pool table and grabbed the white ball off the table after Josh had a shot, she then fell off the table and landed on her head! She's fie but I can't let her out of my sight for long. Today jemma unlocked the front door and let Jess out the front while I was printing something. When I got out the front Jess was halfway down our street, The distance of 1 house really but they have a long block, and she was standing on the road. Jemma got smacked and I am going to have to start puttjng the chain on the door cos Jemma can unlock the actaul lock now, she is tall enough. Jessica is a bigger bugger than Josh was! We are in trouble I think!
Well Arron is going to sit with me when the kids go to bed and finish this book work if it kills him cos I have to make the payment tomorrow. And he can also fill in invoices for the other amounts he has banked mor I'll kill him LOL
I am staying home tomorrow and plan to go to the shops on Friday and meet up with a friend, I may even spend some of my bday money, just what to buy first is the question. LOL
I had a bit of a cull in the names thread on the first post, but I am sure there is a few more I can get rid off. I am just being too nice LMAO.
Well my baby (big baby) is 4 tomorrow. It is all happening I got a phone call today to say that our pergola is going to be put up a day early, so they are starting at 4pm tomorrow too !!!
The kindy director asked me today if I wanted the Kindy Rabbit to keep, so we are now running around like crazy to get a large hutch for it. It is a New Zealand Giant Rabbit. It is bloody huge LMAO, but very tame.
My parents and grandmother are coming over tomorrow arvo/night so I have to spend the morning cleaning my house as I spent 8hrs at playgroup today LMAO.
Friday I have Playgroup/Kindy in the morning, then a Governing Council meeting afterwards, plus wait for a phone call to say our car is ready to be picked up from the crash repairer and also the installers for the pergola will be back at 4pm to finish the job off. So Friday I wont get a chance to breathe
Christy & Mooshie - I hope everyone is feeling better soon.
YAY on the pergola Kathryn!! How is your dog going to go with the rabbit?
Well...I've caught Matilda's cold, sounds suspiciously like what Aidyn has, maybe a Brissy thing... but it feels awful. I've been up since 4am because it became really painful then to lay down, so neurofen, steam shower & heaps of saline spray up the nose & I started settling down & Matilda woke up #-o with the same stuff, so we did it all for her too.... DH has to bring all my stuff into playgroup for me & help set up & then he's coming back to look after Matilda until lunchtime & then going into work. urgh....yuk
LMAO Christy we have no idea re the dog v's the rabbit. 8-[ If the dog doesn't like her/him then we will just shut the dog inside so the rabbit can hop around outside for a little while. Just have to keep an eye on the rabbit outside cause it loves to dig.
Oh you poor guys! I thought I banished any illnesses from this forum about a month ago - how DARE they disobey me! Get better soon Christy, Ambah, Aidyn, Matilda and anyone else who is sick. ( Including DH, who has the virus that Charlie had. Fingers crossed that I don't get it either!
So much to write. Hi to mooshie, dach and bon! Can't believe you guys are in here already. Time goes way too fast. And happy birthday mooshie! Hope you had a rad day.
I'm so glad you had a lovely weekend, Christy. And how gorgeous that Matilda said hello on the phone! That's so cute. I bet you needed the break. And lol at DH - sometimes they have no idea!
I'm really sorry for anyone I missed. I have to go and lie down now - DH has the day off because he's sick, and he's kindly offered to look after Charlie so I can have a sleep. Then I'm off to get my haircut this afternoon - it's a hard life!
Sounds like you are going to be stuffed come Sunday Kathryn, but great news about the pergola, and happy bday to Cam, 4 years old, he's very big now! Have fun with that rabbit! We had one once, ended up dead after a run in with the dog, nothing gory or terrible, the dog thought it was a game to throw the rabbit up in the air and the rabbit ended up dying of shock, no blood or anything. We didn't let the rabbit out either it escaped while we weren't home.
Christy hope you feel better soon, it never seems to end does it.
Hi kellee hope you are not to nauseus atm! ANd that you dh doesn't give that bug to you!
Well I finished the bookwork at 12.30am, without any help from that useless DH of mine, he had quite a bit to drink and just kept sooking that he had stuffed it all up by not recording things, I ended up telling him to **** off cos he was making me so angry and that was slowing me down. He slept for 2 hrs while i spent 3 hrs working. But it's done, now we can put the tax in and pay the GST YAY how lucky are we?
Going shopping tomorrow, should be fun! Arron is leaving for fishing early tomorrow morning so i have 4 kids to take to little aths, now that will be fun. I might take the littlies to mum's !!! better organise that!
Big celebration for us today... we now have ADSL! So I am happily zooming around the forums getting much more done than usual, LOL.
Aidyn is being such a cranky bugger this week... he has been over his cold for a few days, so I am even beginning to suspect that his 2yr old molars may be on the move. He got all his other teeth pretty early, so it wouldnt surprise me... He has a constant slick of drool all over his chin, neck and chest (eww!) and yesterdaywas munching and gnawing into his dummy so much that he chewed the whole darned teat off!
I'm still slowly getting over my cold... managed to drag myself to gym this morning, but I didn't feel 100%... felt quite weak actually. Isnt it amazing how even being the tiniest bit unwell can affect your fitness?
We had a massive storm here tonight... apparently half our suburb plus the next few along are out of power - but not us thankgoodness!! I wasnt looking forward to having to settle Aidyn in the pitch darkness... especially when he's having a bad night and screams and bawls every time I put him in the cot... took me 3 hrs to get him to go to sleep!
Happy Birthday to Kam!! I hope he had a brilliant day!
Cool about the giant rabbit too... I'd love to see piccies of it Kat!! We're not allowed to keep rabbits in Qld I think?
Michelle - good on you for getting all of the bookwork done, hope you get a nice healthy tax return
Christy - I hope you and Matilda are feeling better soon!
Kellee - I hope you had a nice restful day
Happy birthday to Grace, Yasin, and anyone else I have missed!
Had a good day. The guys to do the pergola turned up an hour early so that was great cause they got quite a bit done today, all the framework is up and looking fantastic. Looks very weird too cause we are not used to it LOL. The builders were a nice bit of eye candy too 8-[
Kameron said "oh wow cool" to every single present he opened, so that was very cute. We got him a car race track thing that doesn't need batteries YAY and the cars go flat out around the track, so he had an absoloute blast with that. He also got a new book for his fisher price power touch. All about Storm Rescue (it was from mum) so Andrew and I have had fun pressing all the storm sounds 8-[
My parents also brought over the playpen they had for my kids when they were babies and brought some mesh stuff too, so we are going to weave the mesh stuff through the railings and that will the the rabbit's make shift home till we get a proper hutch. There is a guy at Andrews work who has a hutch they dont use, so he had to ask his wife tonight if she wants to get rid of it, and we will find out tomorrow. We have been looking around for large hutches and they are anywhere between $150 - $200 haven't even seen any 2nd hand ones for sale
Ambah - congrats on the ADSL. Andrew complains ADSL is too slow now LMAO. I think Lachlans 2yr old molars might be on the move too. He has been tugging at one ear quite a bit, but he isn't sick. So I dunno, just putting it down to the molars.
Well I should get settled for Alias. Stupid Billy Connolly is on atm was meant to be a double Alias ](*,) so got on to kill some time.
