Really really vague Question!! silicon bakeware cake pans

I'm just wondering; I have one of those silicon bakeware cake pans and I was just thinking is it necessary to line one of these?
In my old "metal" tins I would always line with baking paper but would it be okay not to in the silicone ones?

You don't have to line them as far as I know. I have some but haven't ever used them LOL.

You aren't supposed to have to line them, but my MIL curses them and hates the things, as they always stick. She threw hers out!
I just use the metal ones. I can't bring myself to use a silicon one.

I don't use them, but each time I have seen them used they were lined.

i've used the muffin ones heaps - if they're cooled in the pan first, they don't seem to stick - but i would think if you're using a cake tray and you have the lining there, i'd use it...

Yeah I've had issues with my silicone sticking. Heaps infact, I got rid of it because it was just wasn't worth it.

I dunno what I've done wrong but it wasn't worth it.

Well... it doesn't look like it's stuck but because of the amount of chocolate in it it's still very "piecy" so i have to wait for it to cool before i take it out or it will fall apart!
I did forget to spray first though. Oh well... Making a second lot anyway so if the first one fails the first one is ours so it's all good.

ETA: It worked fine, no sticking!!!
