My DD has not pooed in 4 days -this is a long time for her. I know lots of bubs don't go regularly but she goes everyday - sometimes twice. The most she has gone without going is one whole day. The only thing she eats/drinks is breastmilk and in last week or so she's had "licks"/"tastes" of custard - not enough to call eating though! Could this be a problem? She doesn't seem to be in pain.
Jordie, I wouldn't stress too much about her not pooing if she doesn't seem uncomfortable. I don't think that tiny ammounts of custard would do that to her either. Not sure if there is a reason as to why she's not having solids just yet, but it would be good to start her on some. Even if it's just something light like apples or pears. This might help to get things moving along too.
Is she having plenty of fluids ? Plenty of breastfeeds ? She will unclog soon enough, just hope that your home when it all comes out.
Jordie, seeing as she doesn't like solids and is still really only having breastmilk, that long between poos shouldn't be a problem. DD went 10 days once (boy was it a whopper when it did come). As long as she isn't straining and nothing coming out there shouldn't be a problem.
