some sharp pains down there

since last night i have been getting these irregular but constant sharps pains that go straight up my cha cha, and after the pain it feels like something is about to pop, i have had no extra discharge (than the normal) or leaking ,

Has anyone else had this problem or know what it may be

it feels like my water is going to break, i think!!

im not sure cos i have never gone through it before

A head bouncing on your cervix can cause this (I'm pretty sure that's what it is anyway). I had this with both my boys once their heads were well down in the pelvis (engaged). I think I got it when I walked mostly.

I had that a couple of times during the third tri but it happened to me when I was walking. It was incredible painful and would stop me in my tracks. It only ever lasted a couple of minutes each time when I had it happen.

I've had these pains, while sitting walking doing whatever and they definately stop you in your tracks. Asked ob today said things are getting set up for the birth.
I also tonight about 1/2 hr ago had streaky blood when i when i wiped after the loo. Could have been the plug?
Got to call delivery suite back i there is any more on a pad by 10:45

I have had these pains. Doctors say its bubs head hitting the cervix

Sorry but they will prob get worse (like mine did) over the next few weeks

Yep I got them too, but mostly when sitting down late in my pg. Felt like the pointy end of a knife running down the inside of my va-jay-jay.... Ouch! I too was told it's because bub's head was pushing down. Fun fun!
