I would try Brauer's Colic Relief - 1ml every half hour to begin with, then every 4 hours if needed. It is safe for newborns, and has no side-effects, and best of all, you can buy it from health food stores and many pharmacies. You can also try tilting her cot slightly, so her feet are a tad lower than her head - this seems to be beneficial too.
If you need any extra help, and you live near Melbourne, drop in to the centre on a Tuesday or Thursday for a chat with Jocelyn or myself - we're both Naturopaths, and have many tools up our sleeves for safe and effective colic relief!
All the best,
xxx

such a sacrifice LOL ) whilst keeping an eye on her sleeping on her tummy propped up over a cushion. At least it meant I could get some sleep
You've just gotta do what works in those early days! It's hard seeing the poor little things in pain like that.. just have to try and help move that wind.
IKWYM about letting them rip... My little princess has started kicking about alot especially when i give her no nappy time (she love it) i think all the kicking helps her get the wind out... She lets go like a big baked-bean eating man. YUK... Its wrong seeing my princess do such loud smelly fluffs...
