    Hiccups when laughing

    Hi all,

Every time DD laughs she gets the hiccups! She has been like this ever since she could laugh. I thought it must be a baby thing, but now I'm worried that she's not going to grow out of it (she's 13 months now). I love her giggling, but then feel sad that she had to get over the hiccups. I am a very hiccuppy person myself and it can drive me mad (although I don't get them every time I laugh). Do you think she'll get over it?

my DD did this too. admittedly she did it alot more while she was younger but occasionally it still happens, she has just turned two. only when she is cracking up hysterically laughing. i dont think it too much of a problem.

My DD is exactly the same! The fun and laughing usually ends when she gets the hiccups every time she laughs, poor thing!
She is 5 months and i hope it is just a baby thing and she grows out of it.
