car seat dramas

Hi, today DS , almost 2. was an absolute nightmare, to put it nicely.

When i put him in my car , he always goes in without a fuss.. today i was going out with my mum , so we used her car and her seat, he wouldnt have a bar of it, screamed and screamed, had to hold him down to put him in, and then he screamed for a good 10 mins, coming home was the same in her car. he is so used to just travelling in my car and DH, so i have never seen him like this before.. anyone else have this drama, i hope its a phase.

Oh it will be just a phase, How often do you travel in your mums car? If it was hapenning on a semi regular thing, mayb you could get him something that he only has in her car??. I dont really know but hopefully its something that stops as quickly. sorry I wasnt helpfull.
