First lot of MCN have arrived!!! But more questions now....

I got Hautes, with a microfibre and booster
a Happy Heinys, with microfibre and booster
a Green Kids
and Baby Kangas

I have 7 BG's coming....

Now, Baby Kangas look awesome... zippered closure, HEAPS of fastenings, easy stuffing...

Green kids..... easy stuffing, soft leg holes, but no height adjustings, just at the waist...

Happy Heinys.. heaps of adjustments, but the stuffing opening is HUGE, and is falling down into the nappy....

Hautes... easy stuffing, lots of adjustments, stuffing opening is a little big...


Now I haven't used them , so dont know about performance yet.
The instructions say to use 1 bamboo insert through the day, and to just add a microfibre at night, and a booster for big wetters..... I only have microfibres at the moment...But i'm assuming 1 bamboo would be easier than 2 microfibres at every change??

Is this the best way to stuff???? I dont want to stuff it up at first and get discouraged... also I need to get a bulk pack of bamboo inserts....

I think just use what they say as a guide. You will find what works best for your bubs. Its going to be different for all of them. No way would just a bamboo & microfibre cut it for Isla. She needs a real night nappy & still soaks those (must wean that sippy cup of water in bed!!)

Give it all a wash, & just play & accept it may take a few weeks to work out the best combo. Also remember that the more washes they get the more absorbent they will become.

hehe i mix and match inserts from all the differnet pockets.

best bet give them a wash as FJ said, umm maybe 4-6 prewashes..

Bamboo boosters are easy.. can you sew???

you can just buy some bamboo and make some of your own.. or Maz sells them in her store too for a great price!!!
