For those that have had a VBAC

Was there a team on standby at the hospital during your labour incase something did go wrong (to preform an emergency c/section)? or would they have had to be called in?

Would anyone change their mind if they knew that a team would have to be called in from home or where ever if anything went wrong?

No and no. I got to the hospital around 1am and the midwife wasn't even there yet who was going to have to come in & look after me. I didn't care, you can't plan labour Obviously there wasn't surgical staff there, but they would be paid to be on call... I get paid to be on call even if I am not called out, so I assume it would be the same.

I wasn't going to worry about putting people out for the safety of me and my bub.
