    Changing to 'big' bed?

    Hey All!

DD is only 15 months and it is probably a bit earlier but I have been thinking about get her a 'big' bed as she is getting VERY long in her cot. The one thing that I am worried about is DD falling out of the bed!! I havent looked at beds yet, just thinking about it, so not too sure how they look like. But DD likes to roll around in her cot - I found her with her legs sticking out the other day cause she was sleeping side ways!!

So my question is, how old was yours when you moved them in to their next bed? Was it an easy transition? And if your child was a roller/mover too, how did you go about it so they didnt fall out.

    Thanks!

    Hi

We moved DS to a big bed probably nearly a month ago?? We got him a bed from ikea cos not only are they cute - they are also closer to the floor. A picture of his bed is in my gallery : -

He has been fine - not much moving - did fall out but went backwards so landed on his feet - so far only once. He was always waking himself up in the cot from hitting his head on the end.

    HTH!

Nina was 15 months old, and we had no problems at all when we moved her. She's a big roller too, and we have the side rails up on her bed. If we didn't have them, she'd probably end up on the floor every night!
