Does anyone have the fisher price swing?

I am wondering if my fisher price swing is faulty - its the red one with the panda attachment. I think its called "sensory take along swing".

Basically ever since we've had it, it always stops swinging properly and goes really slowly like an inch back and forth, you have to push it with your foot and then its gets in the motion again. But keeps doing it sometimes.

Does anyone else do this?

I don't have that one, but most baby swings do need a bit of a push to get them going, but they should stay going too. It could be that the batteries you are using aren't strong enough? Maybe try more heavy duty battieres (unless it's an electric swing of course!). Also, the heavier your baby is, the more likely the swing will slow down.

Maybe contact Mattel and ask them?

My swing started to do this. Then I replaced the batteries & it was all good again. Have you tried that?
