Hi Lorelle! Archie has fair skin too and i have found the best sunscreen for him is Sunsense Toddler Milk by Ego, from the Chemist. It is easy to apply and rubs in quickly, is great on his sensitive skin and is okay for me to use too. HTH
I use UV natural from the chemist (but not all chemists) or health food shop. Its preservative & fragrance free & the active ingredient is zinc oxide. It goes on easily enough, but it is a bit sticky.

I have a roll on which is great! Its a Baby & Toddler one thats SPF 30+ (just fragrence free and for delicate skin).. has pooh bear on it.. But the roll on is excellent. I just roll it on DS's arms and legs and rub it in. Nice and small also to fit in the nappy bag.
Oh, thanks ELISSA ... that sounds great as i forgot to mention my daughter gets on the very rare occasion slight ezcema !!
(Miss you guys on Baby Buddies ... sounds a bit selfish but i got down a bit with a few having their 2nd babies ... seems it's just happening everywhere i go now those with a child my daughter's age have already given birth to their 2nd child ... & it's just a reminder of how long we have been trying for no#2 baby now - been trying for 16mths ... and i felt a bit out of it with you Mum's there ... i must admit i just thought out of them all you are just the loveliest ... and at times wish i had a friend like you living near by ... keep well & good... and ARCHIE just looks the cutest in his pic, his hair is the same colour as my daughter's ... hi there - i have used so many diff ones as i always forget and have to buy more.
My DS has sensitive skin so i used the ego one or the naturals one the girls have mentioned.

I used to work at a pharmacy (many moons ago...) and we would recommend Hamilton Toddler milk. It's got the highest UV rating (the actual figures can't be published above 30+) of all stocked by most pharmacies. It also has the least amount of potential irritants. I can't remember the exact UV blockage figure, I think it was in the region of 60. Most 30+ hover up to 45, not many are higher than that. I use this sunscreen on my DD who has extremely fair skin and she's never been sunburned.
I happen to be at our GP yesterday and asked her what sunscreen she recommend for toddlers ... She said keeping in mind she is no expert in sunscreen products ... she highly recommended the HAMILTON brand, she said either the Pink or Red capped bottle.
She warned me it's a bit expensive but she said she always uses it on her kids. So, i popped into Priceline after the Doc's appt and the bottle was $14.95 (i think 250ml ?? ... i might wrong) and the 50ml roll-on was $9.95.
KELLEX ... i took your advice and got the roll-on as my daughter likes to walk everywhere these days (she likes out of the stroller now) so i thought the roll-on is super & handy to carry on me all the time in my handbag or nappybag (thought if i like it i'd get a bottle later on for the beach, )...

My DD gets slight eczema also, which we have only recently found out - the main cause is creams and lotions. We have had to go through quite a few brands of sunscreen to find one that doesn't make her face/arms all red and itchy. The ones that works for us is the Hamilton Toddler Lotion (Pink Lid), and have used Sunsense, Nivea, Banana Boat, UV Naturals to name a few in the process and all these have made her skin red.
