    Girls Shortlist

I think we finally have some shortlists (finally - lol only 25 weeks to go!)

This is the girls ones, what do you think. I know they're a little different and I'm quite open to constructive comments regardless of whether you love them or hate them.

Middle name of a girl will be Dawn, but we wont be using it in regular converstion IYKWIM?

    What no Layla, Ray? LOL

I think I would find it hard to choose between Lily and India.

    Good luck

I think Lily is pretty but it is EXTREMELY popular, especially here in Wa. So as long that doesnt bother you then it is a nice name.

I voted for India, I think India Dawn sounds just divine. I have a neice Indya so I am partial to that name, she does get called Indy alot tho.

I think I ended up choosing Sofie . I really like India Dawn though... and I like Indi as a nick name. Lily and Lucie are getting very popular.

DHs favourites are Lily and India.
I love India, but hate Indy, which is why I'm having reservations about it.
I think I am leaning towards Andie but I'd have to talk DH in to it being short for something, maybe Miranda. hmm. Good think theres lots of time left to decide!

Lucy and Eleanor are my favorites. Lily is also a good name, but as someone pointed out, very popular right now. Do you like any variants like Lillian, Lilia, or Liliana?

Andie seems rather informal, I'm more used to it as a nickname for Andrea or Alexandra. India is sort of pretentious (though it might just be seen that way where I live- most place names look that way because they sound like the parents wanted to seem exotic).

To me Eleanor sounds quite old fashioned, and i had to check i was spelling it right. Sofie is really lovely, Andie is also cute - it can be short for Andrea?

I remember trying to name Bonnie (what a nightmare!) and one of my faves was Liliha

Just thought I would put that out there
