When did your child outgrow the pram?

I currently have a 2yo and 10mth old and my 2yo, although he likes to walk, is nowhere near ready to not be in the pram. He doesnt listen and has trouble focusing on walking near me. He sometimes will wear a kiddy harness so he cant get far but it generally ends in tears/tantrums.

My dilemma is that I am expecting #3 in April when Ds1 is 2.5 and Ds2 is 14mths. I dont envision Ds1 being ready or grown up enough to walk if we 4 go out shopping before 3yo if not beyond. My bubs get big quickly and I find it hard to carry them in a sling or carrier because Im not a very big person.

So when did your toddler outgrow the pram and was able to walk and pay attention to instructions? I dont exactly have time to chase him with two other littlies in a pram.

Trying to decide if its worth investing in a 3seater pram or 2-seater with toddler attachment.

    Thanks

Nina has outgrown the pram, probably about a month or so ago. Which is a shame as I have a P&T, but don't get to use it to it's full ability
He might surprise you and by the time Gage arrives, he'll be ready to walk beside you. I'd probably give it until early next year and see where he's at.

DD was still being pushed around in her pram at 4... but i bought that particular one as it had a higher back to suit her for longer.....
