What do you think of these names...?

DH & I are not TTC for another 4 months or so, but have been discussing names lately.
We have been together for 7 years & always said we would name our first girl Montanah Rose... but because I've loved it for sooo long, I'm almost over it now LOL I still really like it, but think it's been overused for such a long time
We also love the name Rilee / Rylee / Rylie / Riley for either boy or girl.
I love Ayla & Asha but DH doesn't like either.
Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions...??? Welcome postive or not so positive replies
    TIA

I agree with you about Montanah. We have liked it since 2001, well before Hannah Montana was a common household name, but now that's all people will think when they hear it.
    But I still love it!!
    Thanks for sharing your thoughts!!

well I am biased I have a DD - Rylee... I also really like it for a boy too....in fact DD was going to be a boy which is how we came up with Riley in the first place but then changed it to Rylee when we had the second scan showing she was a girl lol....

I prefer Riley to be spelled Riley for either sex, though it I had to choose a different spelling for a girl, I would go with Rylie (which you have for a boy). I don't like Rylee or Rilee because the double EE makes it look like a kid misspelled the name.

If your husband doesn't like Ayla or Asha, here are some similar names you might like: Ada, Aida, Aisha, Aria, Ava, Isla.

I like Montanah- but agree that it is likely to be a common name for the next decade or so because of Miley Cyrus!
How about Savanah/Savannah? It's got a similar kind of sound.... Riley is nice, but also very common now. I also love Ayla and Asha..... I like A names full stop actually....Lol.
    Otherwise, some suggestions below (some may seem a bit unusual);
    - Aramei/Aremai (Ah-ra-may)
    - Arielle
    - Aleiya/Aleiyah (Ah-lay-a)
    - Almira/Almirah
    - Amalie
    - Ashlyn/Ashlen
    - Jaiya
    - Jenae
    - Jacelyn/Jaselyn
    - Liana
    - Mahlia/Mahlie
    - Sahara
    - Shiane
    - Tahlia
    - Tamsyn
    - Qiana (Key-arn-a)

I'm not so sure about Montanah... I really like Riley as a boy's name and I like Ayla and Asha too! (But that's kind of academic if your DH doesn't like them, hey? LOL.)

I really love Riley for a boy if DD was a boy that would have been our boys name and I also love Rylee for a girl. I want the name Rylee if we have another DD.

Montanna was on my list for such a long time, since before I was even thinking about having any children...Montanna Brooke. Never used it and I haven't really heard it all that much. Except for Hannah Montannah!!!!

I love the name Rylee for a boy or a girl, but is becoming quite popular for a boys name. Gorgeous for a little girl.
