should I follow it up yet?

I handed in the forms for Iains birth 2 weeks ago. I know the Baby bonus can take some time so thats ok. But my FTB payments have not changed yet. I was paid on Friday. Should I follow up yet? I know it will be back paid when it comes through Im just not sure if its normal that that hasn't updated yet. All my previous kids have been updated within days of handing in the forms.

Could it be that his birth registration hasn't been processed yet? The BD&M website says there is like a 6 week wait for that....

Fj it probably took me about 2-4 weeks to get my payments happening with E.
My birth certificate was only processed last week (still havent gotten it) and he is 7 weeks!

give it a little while longer. they will back pay you anyhow

It takes up to 21 days for the BB and your payments to adjust. You will get back paid from his birth though. Nah the birth registration is different. Took us 9 weeks to get that.

the aim is to have 70% of all claims processed within three weeks. you may find now that you've moved, instead of being processed locally it's at a central location so might be a bit longer than the other kidlets. as long as rego has another 10 days, you should be fine cos once you hit three weeks, you can call and have it pushed through (they won't do it before that though)

yeah rego isn't due till the 16th. Which is why the car is getting the windscreen done now. Otherwise it wont pass its pink slip.

yeah I don't actually have to get one this year as the car is less then 5 yrs old but If I was pulled over I would get into trouble for it. Its covered by my insurance so getting it done seems I can. You watch though, It will get replaced & in lets say a months time, another truck will fly past & I will have yet another stone chip/crack!

yeah, guarantee it happens like that!

DH's ute is OLD and looks it - it's only being kept for rubbish runs and for when the boys go to get firewood lol. but i still want it at least looking roadworthy ( the only internal dial on the dash that works is the fuel guage!)

PMSL! I was shocked when I got in the car the day after I got a stone chip, was the tiny little thing & overnight it had spread over the driver side!
