thread: lump above belly button, worried

    lump above belly button, worried

    a little worried and will take DD to doctor in jan anyway for her 12 month shots so will check with doctor then however, just wondering whether anyone can help me before then. my DD has a hard lump above her belly button, i have only noticed it the last couple of weeks. does anyone know what it may be? worried, thanks.

    My DD had an umbilical hernia, which was like a squishy lump over her naval area. Not sure that this sounds the same though? How big is the lump?

    thanks everyone for your help. she has an appt with doc on monday for 12 month needles so will check then.
